Dexter Lawrence

Company Visionary

Dexter has been been working in accounts for over 20 years. He started out by doing accounts in multi national companies such as ITT Industries Ltd and Fitzgerald Lighting Ltd before eventually deciding in 2007 to embark on a new challenge working for himself. He set up DL Accounts Ltd and hasn't looked back since. Dexter is passionate about technology and really enjoys keeping up with new advances and learning about exciting new software that will save businesses time and money! As a result, we are leaders in the new digital age of accounting. In his free time, Dexter loves spending time with his daughter Alex and watching the mighty Manchester United. He also enjoys a holiday or two!

Siobhan Lawrence

BA (Hons), ICB Level 3 DIP in Payroll Management

Payroll Director

Siobhan joined DL Accounts Ltd in 2014 and is one of our directors at the company. Her current main responsibilities are to oversee and manage our payroll services. Prior to working here, she was a teacher with specialisms in both Maths and English. She is also now training to become fully AAT qualified whilst helping to lead the business forwards.

Laurel Higgins

MAAT, ATT Tax Technician

Senior Tax Technician

Laurel joined our team as an Accounts Assistant back in 2013 and so holds the title of the longest serving employee here at DL Accounts! Since joining, she has progressed to become our Senior Tax Technician after completing all her ATT exams. Laurel is also certified with Xero, Quickbooks and Sage. Laurel's main responsibilities include leading the rest of the team here at DL Accounts Ltd, as well as preparing accounts and VAT returns. When Laurel is not behind the computer working hard, you will find her mountain biking or appreciating a good quality book!

Avril Hayhurst

Senior Client Manager

Avril joined DL Accounts Ltd in 2018. She manages a large portfolio of clients, with her specialist area being the construction industry, and is always happy to give any advice to our clients! Avril's main responsibilities includes bookkeeping, VAT return and accounts preparation, She will also help and mentor any apprentices in the team. Outside of work, Avril really enjoys travelling and watching her box sets.

Lucy Burnett

BA (Hons), QTS

Company Integrator

Lucy joined the team two years ago and is stationed primarily at our Nansledan office. Prior to joining DL Accounts, she was a teacher in Bristol but recently moved to Cornwall, and fancied a change of career! Lucy's main responsibilities are leading and organising the admin team, overseeing our marketing and liaising with clients! She also works in the background to streamline company processes and make DL accounts more efficient! Lucy also works for us as a bookkeeper for our hospitality clients and is currently working towards her AAT qualifications.

Miya Conroy

Client Manager

Miya has been working at DL Accounts for three years. She started off as an apprentice and is now AAT qualified. She works primarily as a bookkeeper and bases herself across both our St Austell and Nansledan offices. She has a great eye for detail and is very popular amongst our clients for this skill! Outside of work Miya is always looking for her next adventure and loves travelling to new places.

Jessica Lewis

Client Manager

Jessica has joined us this year as a bookkeeper and will be based at Our St Austell Office 9am - 3pm. She is currently AAT Level 3 qualified and is looking to go on and study Level 4. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active, going on adventures with her little boy and family time!

Kayleigh Townsend

Administrator

Kayleigh became a member of the DL Accounts team two years ago and is based in our Nansledan office in Newquay. She assists with admin responsibilities, social media and helps answer the phones. Outside of work she enjoys doing photography and spending time with her family!

Cara Holland

Client Success Manager

Cara has recently joined the team having just left her previous managerial role and is really excited about a change in career. Cara enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 year old son Stanley along with the rest of her family in this beautiful part of the world.

Trib is our tax saving hero! Trib is short for the latin word Tributum and the name literally means tax! He likes to venture out at big company events and enjoys running. In fact, he actually won the Mascot race at The Royal Cornwall Show a couple of years back!
